West Monroe, Louisiana is known as the hometown to the cast of A&E's hit show, Duck Dynasty.
This past week, it was also home to over 20 inches of rain, which the city was not prepared to handle. Luckily, the tight-kit community all banded together to help each other get through this time.
Cast members Godwin and Martin, along with their wonderful wives, filled hundreds of sandbags and delivered them to their neighbors in need. They filled up rowboats, canoes, and anything that would float to take them from house to house.
The Duck Commander Instagram shared a few photos of them helping out with the caption, "Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for our community. Our office and store is currently open and does not have significant damage, but many of our friends have lost their homes. As it continues to rain, our community still needs your prayers."
Willie Robertson's assistant shared a photo of Martin pulling a rowboat full of sandbags, showing just how far these men will go to help their community.
Jase's son, Reed shared an aerial photo to show how far underwater West Monroe is.
More photos and videos have surfaced from the flood, and we will continue to pray for the families in Louisiana during this time and hope they can rebuild what was taken from them.
