Shortly before a performance at a Houston saloon, the tour manager watched as the members of The Damn Quails took the stage. That was around 11 p.m. on Saturday March 19th. But that was the last time anyone has seen or heard from Colin Deyalsingh.
Now, the 5-man group is frantically trying to find their friend and tour manager. Posting on social media has helped drum up attention to Deyalsingh's disappearance and they have been searching everywhere for him in the days that have passed.
"We are all extremely worried about Colin. If anyone at the show or in the area has any idea where he may be, or if anyone saw him anywhere in the Houston area, please let us know as soon as possible," the band writes on their Facebook page.
The band has received an incredible outpouring of help and assistance from both longtime fans and people new to the band that simply want to help their fellow human beings. People have rallied to the posts on their Facebook page and left a bevy of helpful suggestions as well as confirming that they are actively trying to find Deyalsingh as well.
The Damn Quails have amassed a significant fan base since their formation in 2010, the Oklahoman band made their debut in 2011 with "Down The Hatch" and issued their latest album, Out Of The Birdcage, last September.
The band has been posting as many photos as they can of their friend in hopes that someone will recognize him and have also been in touch with the police trying to get as much help as possible.
"While his whereabouts remain unknown, we remain hopeful that at any moment he will be found safe and sound," the band writes in another post. "Every possible piece of information has been given to the authorities and we are pursuing every avenue possible to locate Colin."
We are keeping The Damn Quails, Colin Deyalsingh and their families in our prayers during this incredibly difficult time and praying for his safe return.
Below is the band's latest post regarding Colin and additional photos of him. If you have any information about their tour manager and friend's disappearance, please get in touch with the band!
