Congratulations to the Lucas family!
After unsuccessfully conceiving a second child for almost five years, Chris Lucas of the country duo LoCash and his wife, Kaitlyn, welcomed a baby girl on Monday.
Remi McKenna Lucas was born on March 21 at 9:21pm weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces. She measured to be 19 inches long and joins five-year-old brother Caden.
"We are super excited about having our first girl," Lucas tells Us Weekly. "We have a 5-year-old little boy who is our pride and joy, and now it's time to welcome daddy's little girl, and mommy's sidekick. We'd spent five years with no luck with conceiving a second child."
LoCash consists of Lucas and Preston Burst, who are famous for the hit singles "Keep In Mind" and "I Love This Life" and for writing Keith Urban's No. 1 single "You Gonna Fly" and Tim McGraw's Top 10 single "Truck Yeah".
Lucas reveals that one night, Caden came to him and his wife and asked for a baby sister. One month later, they found out they were pregnant with Remi, after years of fertility struggles.
