Being a high-profile country artist, selling millions of records worldwide, and having a huge fan following all while being in the center of the public eye definitely has its difficult moments.
Luke Bryan will be the first one to point out that he is doing everything that he has always wanted and that he's incredibly grateful for being able to do what he loves for a living. In his line of work, there are some times you have to be super careful with what you say, and that's where he says some of his regret lies.
"I've learned my lessons about [Twitter], too. I've learned that drinking and tweeting is not necessarily a positive thing," he confessed during an interview with Adweek.
But beyond throwing a few back and letting your thoughts on the answer to life out in a tweet, Luke says that there was a time he got caught up in a Twitter conflict and it didn't end up well for the other person.
"When you have somebody badmouth you on your Twitter page," He began recalling. "Calling you this and that, you learn to get a little immune to it, but sometimes you've had enough and you'll pop off at them."
And that's just what Luke did...but it didn't stop there.
"Next thing you know, all my fans are absolutely crushing them, and I feel bad that I should have just let it be."
"It's funny, I guess it's my Christian heart, but I do sympathize for the people after my 6.5 million followers unleash an attack on them. It's one thing if you don't like a particluar song... but when you start attacking personal stuff, you're just not a good person."
Apparently, you should definitely not mess with Luke Bryan on Twitter, or you might be biting off more than you can chew! Along with that confession, the singer revealed that he focuses his social media efforts on Twitter and his own app, while he works with people to run his other social media accounts.
