‘Idol’ Finalist Delivers Knockout Performances Of ‘Tennessee Whiskey’ And ‘Drink You Away’

The last few weeks have been filled with great performances and tough competition as America whittles down the remaining contestants on the final “Farewell” season of American Idol. 

One of the contestants who has remained steadfast as one of the show’s favorites, just knocked the socks off of ever viewer in America with his a jaw-dropping double whammy that reminds us of a particular awards show…

Trent Harmon, a 25-year-old waiter from Mississippi, took to the stage as one of four finalists – of which, only three would be moving forward. Naturally, he will be one of them. 

Harmon chose to issue one of the best renditions of Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” that America has ever heard. But, that’s not why he’s safe for this round. 

This talented youngster also chose to give America a little more to think about when he gave a slam-dunk performance of Justin Timberlake’s “Drink You Away” that had everyone hollering for him (even the backup singers!). 

You might be thinking that this combo sounds  a little too familiar and that’s because it should! Both Stapleton and Timberlake dominated the CMA’s with their mind-blowing performance that left everyone in country music breathless! 

Harmon didn’t have a duet partner, so he did the only thing he could do! Sang it all himself and absolutely killed it!
