Shania Twain Takes On Ashton Kutcher In Epic Twitter War

Shania Twain got into a good-natured Twitter spat with actor Ashton Kutcher Friday, shortly after the debut of Kutcher’s new Netflix series, The Ranch. In the first episode, Kutcher made some not-so-family-friendly jokes about Twain and took to Twitter to apologize.

“Apologies again, Miss @ShaniaTwain. I had no inhibitions, made no conditions and definitely got out of line. @TheRanchNetflix,” 38-year old Kutcher tweeted, referring to Twain’s ’90s mega-hit “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”

Twain fired back, giving Kutcher a taste of his own medicine by using lyrics from another hit song of hers “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under.”

“Next time you’re lonely, don’t call on me. Try the operator, maybe she’ll be free.”

Kutcher’s response? Priceless.  “Note to self: Shania Twain… not easily impressed.”

In case there was any doubt that the conversation between the two stars was in fun, Shania Twain wrote “Having some laughs with @aplusk! 🙂 Good luck with ‘The Ranch’!”.
