Carrie Underwood hosted a girls-only party Friday night in Las Vegas. The ACM Women of Country Night was part of the first-ever three-day music festival called ACM Party for a Cause which benefits ACM Lifting Lives and military philanthropies.

During Carrie Underwood’s set on Friday night, she was joined by Martina McBride, Maddie & Tae, Cam, Jana Kramer, and others. But, the big news of the night came when Miranda Lambert made a surprise appearance to perform her and Carrie Underwood’s 2014 Grammy nominated duet “Something Bad.”

Judging by the reaction of the crowd, the duet was truly a surprise and a memorable moment for all in attendance. Carrie took to Twitter following the event to thank Miranda and rave about the “epic” party.

Both women have become pillars in the country music community and are up against each other for the coveted Female Vocalist of the Year award that will be presented during tonight’s (April 3) televised award show. Both women will also be performing as Underwood will be debuting her latest single “Church Bells,” and Lambert will be joining Billy Gibbons and Keith Urban for a performance of ZZ Top’s “Tush.”
