One of the most anticipated performances of the ACM Awards show was the collaboration between country icon Dolly Parton and pop star Katy Perry. The two didn’t miss a beat with their mash-up of Dolly’s “Coat of Many Colors”,”Jolene”, “9 to 5”,

The duo teased their big performance on Twitter prior to the awards show even hinting that their time on stage may not be family-friendly.

It was a big night for Parton as her record-breaking biographical film Coat of Many Colors earned her the ACM’s Tex Ritter Award, and award that is presented to a movie released in the previous year that features country music.

“To be up there with the great stories like Coal Miner’s Daughter and O Brother and Walk the Line, it’s like you say, ‘Wow, all those were feature films, and this one was just a movie of the week on television,'” Parton says of the made-for-television movie.

Parton recently announced her first tour in 25 years to go along with her new album, Pure and Simple. The release date has yet to be announced.
