Casey James admitted that he had never seen American Idol prior to auditioning for Season 9.
Good thing he did, because he made it all the way to the Top 3! With performances including Shania Twain's "Don't!" and Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop", he impressed record executives and was signed to Sony Music Nashville following his 3rd place finish.
He released his first single, "Let's Don't Call It A Night" in August 2011 and his self-titled debut album was released in March 2012. He co-write nine of the eleven tracks.
In 2014, James released "Fall Apart" as the first single from his second album.
He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry on multiple occasions.
