A true country music legend has lost one of the most important and closest people in his life. Referring to him as a 'brother', Willie Nelson is surely heartbroken over the passing of one of his closest friends, Merle Haggard.
The pair had made notable success as a duet on the country charts, even releasing a few albums together, and were performing alongside each other on a recent tour.
Just days after Merle's passing, and a couple before his funeral, Nelson performed a show in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where he took the stage and gave the audience a different version of a song many of them already knew.
Performing, "It's All Going To Pot", Nelson recruited leading country star, Jamey Johnson to help.
The two began the song quite well, and country singer Melonie Cannon decided to hop on the microphone and help pay homage to their friend and colleague, taken too soon.
Johnson also performed a couple tribute songs to The Hag during his set, and the magical country music jam session really ignited the fans!
