Over the last five years, The Voice has become a fan-favorite TV show.
With the ever-changing panel of coaches, and hilarious antics between Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, with all the talented singers we've met, we aren't surprised viewers have been tuning in every week for the past ten seasons.
It's a show you can watch with the whole family, and one certain mega-famous TV show noticed its rising popularity. Saturday Night Live took advantage of how well-known the show was and spoofed it during one of their 2013 episodes.
Carson Daly, played by cast member Taran Killam, welcomes viewers back to the show and introduces the next contestant, played by comedic powerhouse Melissa McCarthy.
McCarthy gives it her all and sings the Fats Domino song "Toot Toot". She gets all four coaches to turn their chairs pretty quickly, and ends the performance with "Ok, I'm done".
Levine, played by Bill Hader, asked McCarthy what got her into singing, which began a hilarious back-and-forth between the two.
Each coach/comedian got to spotlight their characters, and their impressions were spot-on! Jay Pharoh played Usher, Kate McKinnon played Shakira, and Jason Sudeikis played Blake Shelton.
You won't believe who McCarthy picks as her coach!
