Roughly 24 hours after Robert Ritchie, better known as Kid Rock, discovered the body of his assistant, Michael Sacha, Nashville Metro Police released audio of the heartbreaking 911 call.

During the five-minute phone call, dated Monday (April 25) at 11:32 a.m., an emotional and frantic Ritchie can be heard telling the dispatcher that he needs an ambulance.

"I need an ambulance. My assistant looks to be dead from a Polaris accident. Have you called an ambulance?" Ritchie says. The dispatcher responds that she can't request an ambulance until she knows exactly what happened.

"My Polaris is off the driveway and my assistant looks to be dead." At this point in the call, a frustrated Ritchie yells at the dispatcher saying that he just wants an ambulance.

An unknown woman takes over speaking to the dispatcher. "I'm sorry. I don't know what's going on. We're very upset. We're in shock."

The dispatcher again asks for details about the accident. "We were gonna drive to the airport and we went to find his assistant. We went to look for him. I haven't looked because I can't look, but he appears to be dead. I don't know what happened. I don't know if he took...I don't know what happened. I have no idea. But, we woke up and he wasn't in the house so we came to look for him because it's just not like him to not be up early. He wasn't in his bedroom so we came to look for him," the woman says. "Can you just please send somebody. He’s off to the side of the driveway... We have an ATV, we heard the engine running. It’s in the trees and it’s still running. We didn’t touch anything. I can’t look but he appears to be dead."

News of the accident first broke late Monday night (April 25). According to The Tennessean, 30-year old Michael Sacha died after transporting two dinner guests to the gate of Kid Rock's Nashville-area estate around midnight on Monday. He apparently lost control of the vehicle and crashed on his way back to the residence.

Kid Rock released a statement late Monday saying he is "absolutely devastated" by Sacha's death. Read the full statement by clicking here.
