Randy Travis Couldn’t Stop Smiling During Star-Studded Birthday Bash

Huffington Post

On May 4th 2016, legendary country musician Randy Travis celebrated his 57th birthday in true musical fashion with a group of close friends and family that kept him smiling the entire time!

A small engagement was held at the George Jones Entertainment Complex – which is comprised of The George Jones Museum, a gift shop, restaurant, rooftop bar, and often live country music.

In attendance was, of course, Nancy Jones, Tanya Tucker, Lulu Roman (of HeeHaw), and as they describe, “many other wonderful friends”.  Randy was showered with cards and gifts along with a couple cakes that looked positively delicious!

But the sweetest part about the event was the beaming smile on Randy’s face! It’s such a treat and treasure to see him so happy – perhaps even giddy!

And when the legendary Tanya Tucker came in to give the now 57-year-old superstar a squeeze, he lit up! Truly a precious moment for these old friends!

Unfortunately, since his 2013 stroke, Randy hasn’t made many public appearances, but in the last year, we’ve been seeing more and more of him – which is such a blessing!

We are so happy to see him enjoying his birthday and we are hoping #57 is the best year yet for him!

Watch Randy singing his unforgettable hit, “Forever And Ever, Amen” in the video below!
