As of Wednesday (May 4), Donald Trump became the presumptive presidential candidate for the Republican party.
Trump has said his fair share of controversial remarks over the past year on his campaign and has surprised just about everyone.
In an interview with Shreveport Times just two and three days before Ted Cruz and John Kacish dropped out of the Republican presidential race, respectively, Robertson admitted that the race to the Republican nomination is "just about over".
When asked about Trump's controversial statements and why they don't phase him, Robertson says, "I grew up with Phil, so I'm used to that."
His father, Phil Robertson sparked his own controversy a couple years ago with his comments and opinions on gays and lesbians.
Watch Robertson talk about Trump below.
