Keith Urban & Jimmy Fallon Made Their Television Debut As Duo

The Tonight Show/YouTube

Keith Urban appeared on Friday’s Tonight Show where he and host Jimmy Fallon jokingly announced that they had formed a country music duo.

Fallon made the introduction of the duo by talking about the website FML.com where readers send in stories ending with the acronym. The website encourages readers to “Laugh life off” by sharing their unfortunate life stories. Other readers can respond to the posts by clicking “I agree, your life sucks” or “You deserve it.”

“That’s interesting because I’m actually in a country-music duo, and our band name is FML,” Fallon told the audience before inviting Urban to join him on stage. Fallon, donning a cowboy hat, played guitar while Urban played banjo as they swapped FML lines.

One verse began, “Today I heard water dripping from the back of our house. I went to investigate, only to find a man peeing on our garden gnome. FML.”

The two stars inserted some witty banter between the verses and often couldn’t keep from laughing.
