‘Dancing With The Stars’ Bring Us Back To The Old West In Jivin’ Routine

As one of the most popular competition shows on television, Dancing with the Stars always pulls out all the stops when it comes to their dance routines. Now that the show is entering its final weeks of Season 22, the celebrities and their dance partners are really stepping up their game in hopes of taking home the mirrorball trophy.

During Monday night’s (May 9) performance, R&B singer and Boys II Men member Wanya Morris took to the stage with his partner Lindsay Arnold for a jive routine straight out of the Old West.

Morris made a powerful entrance on stage, as he walked out from behind a set of saloon doors. Wearing traditional Western garb and a huge hat, Morris put on his cowboy face and showed off his gun slinging skills when he whiped a fake gun out of his holster.

Once Arnold joined Morris on stage, the two took off in a high-energy jive that judge Len Goodman said was “all guns blazing.” While dancing in front of the saloon backdrop with tumbleweeds surrounding them, Morris and Arnold entertained the crowd throughout their routine with a series of quick kicks and turns.

At one point, the two pulled off a fun trick when they yanked their bandanas out of their pockets and threw them on the floor to help them slide to the front of the stage.

Morris and Arnold ended up with a 25 out of 30 for the fun-filled Western jive, and once you watch the video below, you’ll see why! After an entertaining dance like that, it’s no wonder viewers voted Morris through to dance again next week.
