With a heavy heart, the country superstar shut down her original small-town store in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. It was one of her first business ventures in the town, and had been heralded by the town for bringing more commerce to the area.
Miranda Lambert announced the decision to shutter the store in Tishomingo on May 25th, however her other Tishomingo-area businesses will remain open.
The Pink Pistol Boutique opened in late 2012 when Lambert and her now-ex husband, Blake Shelton lived together near the town. She later opened other ventures in the area including a no-kill shelter for dogs and a quaint bed and breakfast.
"I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the employees who worked hard to help me bring the store in Tishomingo to life, as well as the patrons who came to experience the Pink Pistol and supported the store," Lambert's press release said.
The singer gave no official date for closing the store, and details regarding what would happen to the employees following the business closure were scarce.
Lambert did state that her other location in Lindale, Texas would remain open and house all of her goods there following the closure.
