Congratulations to country newcomer Dylan Scott! The "My Girl" singer married his long-time sweetheart Blair Anderson on Saturday, May 28. The couple wed in a stunning outdoor ceremony in Bastrop, Louisiana.
Wedding photos posted online by wedding photographer Desirae Gooding show the bride in a gorgeous strapless mermaid gown. Her bridesmaids wore black, floor-length gowns, while the groom and his groomsmen looked sharp in black suits and bowties.
An arbor draped with flowing white fabric was the backdrop for the ceremony. Sara Bareilles' "I Choose You" was played prior to the bridal party making their entrance. Photos also show Dylan Scott in tears as he sees Blair walking down the aisle toward him. The ceremony, officiated by the bride's uncle, closed with the American Authors song "Best Day of My Life."
An outdoor reception followed, complete with a 3-tier cake and dance floor surrounded by strings of lights.
Scott and his new bride left the event under a canopy of sparklers held by their friends and family.
Three days after their elaborate wedding, the couple shared a photo from their Cabo, Mexico, honeymoon on Twitter.
Anderson inspired Scott's latest single, "My Girl." Scott told The Boot that it's “a story that goes all the way back to sophomore year of high school. Just got my first truck, just started writing songs. I was 15. She was 16.”
