Fans have been waiting four years for this exciting news!
Billy Ray Cyrus has announced that he will be releasing his fourteenth studio album, Thin Line, on September 9th!
According to a press release, Cyrus describes Thin Line as, "How I live my life; it's a balance between art and reality," which is the theme of the album.
The album's debut single, "Hey Elvis" features Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Glenn Hughes, and is a gritty rock rendition of a song Cyrus fell in love with almost 20 years ago.
The music video for "Hey Elvis" debuted on Saturday (June 4) on CMT's Hot 20 Countdown and has fans freaking out!
The video shows clips from Cyrus' much anticipated TV show, Still The King, where he plays an Elvis Presley impersonator.
In the beginning of the video, he is seen running from a sheriff, who is none other than country music legend Randy Travis! In April 2013, Cyrus revealed Travis would be playing the sheriff in Still The King. Three months later, Travis suffered a life-threatening stroke.
Fortunately, Travis is doing much better these days! He'll definitely be tuning into the show's premiere.
The "Hey Elvis" video is getting us extremely excited for Still the King! Make sure you watch the trailer here and tune in to the premiere on June 12!
Two other songs will become available before the September album release date. Cyrus takes on the Don William's hit "Tulsa Time" and the title track "Thin Line" on July 8 and August 12, respectively. You can pre-order the album here.
