On Sunday (June 5), Nashville Predators centre Mike Fisher celebrated his 36th birthday. His wife, country super star Carrie Underwood, went all out to make sure her husband had one of the best birthdays ever.
The highlight of any good birthday is the cake, as Underwood well knows. For Fisher's birthday, she had a special cake made for him that shows how "deer" he is to her heart. Designed to look like a deer head mounted on a wall, the cake came complete with a birthday greeting to Fisher written in green icing.
Fisher's deer head cake was created by Ivey Childers, the owner of Ivey Cake in Franklin, Tennessee. Earlier this year, Childers also created not one, but two birthday cakes for Underwood and Fisher's son Isaiah's first birthday party.
Underwood shared a photo of Fisher's cake on Instagram, and also wrote a sweet birthday message to him. "The perfect cake for the almost perfect man!" Underwood said. "@mfisher1212 , you are my one and only...my best friend...my better half."
Besides the picture of the deer head cake, Underwood also shared a video that shows how they celebrated Fisher's birthday with a "bang." Believe it or not, the couple actually owns a cannon, and they decided to shoot it in honor of Fisher's birthday.
Underwood posted a slow motion video of them firing the cannon, pointing out the fact that their neighbors probably think some not so nice things about them.
"#ourneighborsloveus," she wrote.
While their neighbors may not be the happiest, we'd definitely say that Fisher was pretty happy with Underwood after she went above and beyond to make sure he had a great birthday.
These two are so cute together, and we simply can't get enough! You can witness their affection for one another in Underwood's music video to "Mama's Song."
