As always, Reba McEntire has left us speechless with her heart-wrenching song, "The Greatest Man I Never Knew".

This live performance is jaw-dropping, and we're sure it will bring a little tear to your eye. Reba sang such a passionate rendition of "The Greatest Man I Never Knew" that we could feel the emotion coming from her voice. Oh Reba, you always know how to tug at our heartstrings!

The song tells a story many of us know too well, the story of the emotionally distant father. In the song, the child narrator explains how much she loves her father, despite the lack of an emotional connection between the two. They lived in the same home, but said not much more than a passing hello. The narrator goes on to tell us how the days turned to years, and before she knew it, her father's life had come to an end. They never shared a strong father/child bond, and in the end the child was left waiting for an "I love you".

This song reminds us to tell the ones we love just how much we appreciate them.

Check out the video below to see Reba's live performance of "The Greatest Man I Never Knew" and y'all will be in tears.

LYRICS BELOW

The greatest man I never knew
Lived just down the hall
And everyday we said hello
But never touched at all
He was in his paper
I was in my room
How was I to know he thought I hung the moon

The greatest man I never knew
Came home late every night
He never had too much to say
Too much was on his mind
I never really knew him
And now it seems so sad
Everything he gave to us took all he had

Then the days turned into years
And the memories to black and white
He grew cold like an old winter wind
Blowing across my life

The greatest words I never heard
I guess I'll never hear
The man I thought would never die
S'been dead almost a year
He was good at business
But there was business left to do
He never said he loved me
Guess he thought I knew
