13-year-old Rion Page brought X Factor judges to their feet with her performance of Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" both through her undeniable talent as well as her inspirational courage.
In addition to her name's different way of spelling, Rion is unique for separate reason. Rion was born with an extremely rare disease that leaves her hands at almost complete 90 degree angles and almost legally blind in one eye, but the spunky country girl doesn't let that keep her down.
"I have arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, which is basically a whole bunch of words to describe something simple," she explains. "Ever since I was little I would just sort of find a way to get to a microphone...I would put it in between my knees, and try to get it into my foot, and put it in my mouth."
The young singer says music releases her from her frustrations because it allows her to "explain her feelings." Rion blows the judges away with her performance and even wins over the notoriously tough Simon Cowell.
"I think you're literally extraordinary...I remember the first day I met Carrie Underwood and I remember predicting this girl was gonna go on and do special things with her life, and I'm gonna say the same thing about you Rion."
In resounding four yes' from the judges, Rion advances to the next round. You can watch her inspirational performance in the video below and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments!
