Dolly had the opportunity to go on the popular British talk show, “Parkinson”. Parkinson asks Dolly about her career and how she feels about the whole adventure.
Dolly states:
I just realize how lucky I’ve been and how fortunate I am. I’m very humble that I’ve been able to accomplish as much as I have.
Dolly talks about how she wanted to be famous and that she knew she would be if she only believed it in her heart and mind. She wouldn’t accept it any other way.
Dolly talks about how she patterned her look after “the town tramp” and plastic surgery. When it comes to aging, Dolly has no problem getting a snip or a lift. With fondness she says her husband asked for a sneak peek and she had to lift up her skirt to show him what she jokingly calls her “biggins”.
