This video takes a look back to Garth Brooks' Artist of the Decade win at the ACM Awards in 1999.

Though most would argue that it was very deserving win, Garth is still so humble, taking the time to thank everyone who has helped him along the way.

The country music superstar is so respectful of his peers in country music that he almost half-way doesn't accept the award, explaining that he thinks if anyone deserves it more, it would be George Strait.

While Garth states that, if he could, he would split the award in half and give one half to George and one to Reba McEntire, we feel Garth is definitely deserving of this award and continues to be one of the most influential country music artists to this day.
