This kid definitely has some talent! 13-year-old Zac Clifton performed Merle Haggard's hit song, "I'm A Lonesome Fugitive" at Dosey Doe Music Cafe's open mic night in Conroe, Texas. This kid is so good that he has even opened for Merle Haggard, singing songs like Hank Williams Jr.'s "I Can't Help It If I'm Still in Love with You" and even an original tune titled, "My Love For You". It's so awesome to see a kid so young listening to the classics.
"I'm A Lonesome Fugitive", which was originally titled "The Fugitive" was released on Haggard's album of the same name in 1966. It became his first #1 single as it peaked at the top slot on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.
Clifton has some real talent and if he keeps it up, he'll obviously go far - especially since he's already opening for a country music legend like the Hag. This kid has an impressive vocal range and his performance is a must-see.
