This has to be the most touching tribute we've ever seen, and we can hardly hold back our tears. At the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Jimmy Fortune and bluegrass band, Dailey and Vincent, performed a heartfelt rendition of The Statler Brother's hit song, "More Than A Name On A Wall".

In 1989, The Statler Brothers released the incredibly emotional song, "More Than A Name On A Wall" from their album, Greatest Hits. The touching song was a huge success, and hit #6 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. In 2008, Dailey and Vincent released a cover of this heartfelt song off of their debut album, Dailey & Vincent

The song tells the story about a mother visiting the Vietnam Wall Memorial and seeing her sons name written on the wall. She asks God to tell her son that "Lord my boy was special to me / And he meant so much to me", and to remind him that he is "more than a name on a wall". She then goes on to thank God for the memories she has with her son, and tells him that she knows he died for a meaningful reason, but again reminds him, "Lord could you tell him / He's more than a name on a wall".

We're pretty sure there was not a dry eye in the audience after this performance. The touching lyrics, combined with the powerful voices of Jimmy, Dailey and Vincent, made for an absolutely stunning performance.

+++++++++++LYRICS BELOW+++++++++++

I saw her from a distance
As she walked up to the wall
In her hand she held some flowers
As her tears began to fall

She took out pen and paper
As to trace her memories
She looked up to Heaven
And the words she said were these

She said "Lord my boy was special
And he meant so much to me"
And oh I'd love to see him
Just one more time You see

All I have are the memories
And the moments to recall
So Lord could You tell him
He's more than a name on a wall

She said "He really missed the family
And being home on Christmas day"
And he died for God and country
In a place so far away

I remember just a little boy
Playing war since he was three
But Lord this time I know
He's not coming home to me

She said "Lord my boy was special
And he meant so much to me"
And oh I'd love to see him
But I know it just can't be

So I thank You for my memories
And the moments to recall
But Lord could You tell him
He's more than a name on a wall
Lord could You tell him
He's more than a name on a wall

Lord could you tell him
He`s more than a name on a wall

More than a name on a wall
