'Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away' was co-written by Vince Gill in 1992 originally, but the song was revisited in 2011 by a then 22 year-old Hunter Hayes and Vince. This was the first time the duo had ever joined forces onstage, and the result is spectacular.
Hunter is an anomaly in today's country radio-- getting his start as a prodigal accordion player back at the tender age of 4 years old, his current music is a combination of pop, rock and classic country elements. It's refreshing to see such a budding young talent get up and perform with a legend such as Vince... and totally hold his own.
Watch the performance below, and be prepared to be mesmerized.
