The 50th Annual ACMs were a major hit, especially for rebel child Miranda Lambert. She was nominated for Song of the Year for "Automatic", along with Kenny Chesney's "American Kids", Luke Bryan's "Drink A Beer", Kacey Musgraves' "Follow Your Arrow", Eric Church's "Give Me Back My Hometown", and Dierks Bentley's "I Hold On". Miranda beat out all of those fantastic singles with "Automatic". Congratualtions, Miranda!
Miranda graciously accepted the award, giving a big hello to Texas. She thanked her cowriters and then handed over the microphone to her very talented friend who had a hand in penning the award winning song. Check out Miranda's proud moment:
Miranda was nominated for seven awards and took home three: Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. She also took home a Milestone Award. Check it out:
Clad in a loud black and red corset, she also took to the stage to perform a high-energy medley of "Mama's Broken Heart" and "Little Red Wagon". The upbeat performance really showcased Miranda's raw talent in a fun way that makes you just want to jump onto your feet and dance along.
Once again, congratulations to Miranda! It's well-deserved!
