Dolly! was Dolly Parton's 26-episode television show that aired from 1976 to 1978. The show was produced by Bill Graham, who had also produced The Porter Wagoner Show years prior, on which Dolly was a co-star for seven years.

At the time, Dolly! cost $85,000 an episode which for the time, was an impressive amount of money for a television episode. In fact, for a long time it held the record for most expensive show ever produced in Nashville.

A collection of some of the biggest names in country music, and Hollywood, made appearances on the entertaining show -- Emmylou Harris, Kenny Rogers, Linda Ronstadt, and KC & The Sunshine Band are just a few.

One of the highlights of the one-season show was the first-ever televised Trio performance (this was country supergroup Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt), a full decade before they released their critically-acclaimed debut.

Below is a rare clip of Dolly performing a countrified Doobie Brothers hit, 'Drift Away', with brother Randy Parton and singer Anne Murray.
