Home Free Vocal Band has made their rounds on the internet with their viral a cappella covers of famous songs, especially those in the country music genre. The vocal group as won us over with renditions of Jake Owen's "What We Ain't Got", Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire", and Josh Turner's "Your Man". Well, they're at it again, but now it's with the emotional song dedicated to all the mothers out there: Garth Brooks' "Mom".
"Mom" was originally recorded by Welsh singer, Bonnie Tyler in in 2013 and was covered by Garth a year later for his 2014 Man Against Machine album. The song first received attention when Garth performed it on Good Morning America in November 2014.
Home Free never fails to impress us with their awesome vocals. A warning though, because this song and video in particular will make you run for the nearest tissue box. It shows clips of mothers with their children, with so much love in their eyes. It will, without a doubt, make you think of your own mother and have you running for a phone or whatever form of communication you can find quickest just to give them a call and tell them you love them.
