Pake had a routine back surgery on Thursday, and although the surgery went well, Pake suffered a stroke later that evening.

This untimely stroke caused blood on the brain, and swelling, and Reba McEntire is asking her fans to "keep sending him your prayers and thoughts".

Because of the swelling, Pake was rushed into surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain, and he currently remains in the ICU, slowly recovering.

In the 1980s, Pake was a successful country music singer, making his debut with his first single, "Every Night," (rising to number 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart).

Pake's biggest charting hit though, "Saving My Love For You" put him on the map, and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Country Singles chart.

Below is a performance of Pake singing "Too Old To Grow Up Now," and it just shows how incredibly talented he is at singing country music, (Just like his younger sister!).

Our thoughts and prayers are with Pake, and the McEntire family.
