It's always fantastic when a country legend and a modern superstar get together to perform a timeless duet or two. During ACM's Superstar Duets, living legend Patty Loveless took the stage with the award-winning Miranda Lambert to sing Patty's classic hit song, "Blame It On Your Heart" and Miranda's "Dear Diamond".
"Dear Diamond" was written and released in 2011 on Miranda's Four The Record album. "Blame It On Your Heart" was released as the first single in 1993 on Patty's Only What I Feel album. It peaked at the top spot on the US Hot Country Songs (Billboard) chart.
The epic concert featured artists like Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Ronnie Milsap, Sam Hunt, Alabama, and many other superstars, but Patty and Miranda's performance was definitely something to remember. In an interview before the performance, Miranda had a couple things to say about her duet partner's award-winning song. "It's awesome; I love that song, and it feels like it kind of meshes our two styles together," Miranda said. "It has a sass. It sounds like it's perfect for right now," she added. The mixing of their unique voices and styles is pure harmony - something y'all don't want to miss.
