Blake Shelton Gets Silly For A Serious And Important Cause (WATCH)

There is a reason you have seen so many celebrities wearing those funny red noses that we usually associate with clowns. Well they aren’t joining the circus, in fact, they are raising awareness for a very important cause and it is gaining much needed attention fast. 

Blake Shelton is a big supporter of Red Nose Day, a U.K. based campaign that is dedicated to providing underprivileged children with free health care all across the world. For the first time, the campaign is entering the U.S. and has already proved to be a success.

Blake visited one of the mobile clinics in Los Angeles to see what it was all about. “This is a poor neighborhood down here, and if it wasn’t for this mobile clinic, a lot of these kids wouldn’t be getting any medical attention at all,” said that country superstar. 

May 21st is the official Red Nose Day, and people all over the country will come together to start a new tradition of raising funds and awareness about this phenomenal charity. 

‘I didn’t know that much about Red Nose Day… the more I find out about it, the more I think it’s awesome… Apparently over in the U.K it’s been huge… I’m glad it’s coming over to the U.S and I already know it’s going to be an even bigger deal over here. That’s my mission, to make it a bigger deal over here, and raise more money’.
