Season 8 of NBC's The Voice came to an end with an exciting win by Team Pharrell's Sawyer Fredericks. The 16-year-old farm boy from Upstate New York started out as a front runner when all four coaches turned their chairs for him in the blind auditions. Many country fans were rooting for Blake Shelton's last remaining artist, and former Steel Magnolia singer, Meghan Linsey but Sawyer proved to be the season favorite in the end.
Many viewers fell in love with Sawyer from the start. With his unique and endearing folk sound, it is hard not to swoon! He has amazing vocals, and truly is "the voice". He became an instant sensation on iTunes and never lulled in the bottom three throughout the entire season.
When the results were finally revealed, all four coaches congratulated the young artist before he embarked on the start of his career. Something that reminded us of last years winner and country favorite, Craig Wayne Boyd.
