3-Year Old Delivers Pitch Perfect Rendition Of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’

Eight years ago, at the tender age of 4, Kaitlyn Maher captured our hearts as she sang ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ on the America’s Got Talent stage during the show’s third season. She would go on to become the youngest person to ever make it to the Top 10 on the talent show.

America’s Got Talent was just the beginning for Kaitlyn. She was invited to entertain then-President George W. Bush and his 7,000 guests for the Lighting of the National Christmas Tree ceremony. She also performed special concerts for wounded warriors at the Walter Reed National Medical Center and retired soldiers at the Veterans’ Affair Center in Washington, D.C.

Kaitlyn’s impressive resume also includes performances for First Lady Michelle Obama, numerous appearances in national magazines, television show, and newspapers as well as starring in Disney movies including Santa Buddies, Santa Paws, The Search for Santa Paws, Treasure Buddies, and Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups. In addition, she was a supporting actress in feature films, Love, Gloria and Mia and The Magoo

But, one of our favorite performances from Kaitlyn is a video posted to YouTube when she was just 3-years old. According to her dad, it was this video of her singing the national anthem that got her invited to be a part of America’s Got Talent.  After watching the video, we’re not surprised at all that the tiny singer caught the attention of AGT producers. Her pitch perfect rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ coupled with her adorable lyrical pronunciation is enough to make us want to watch the video over and over again.

Check out Kaitlyn Maher singing our national anthem in the video below and share it with everyone you know!
