We all know how legendary Alan Jackson is, but we also appreciate artists of a new generation who are influenced by iconic artists like Alan and who are great in their own right. Kyle Setter is one of those great artists who has blown us away! Of course his goal is not to take the place of Alan, but rather to bring the classic country sound with a new twist.
Aside from being a talented country music artist, Kyle is also a wonderful person. The California native says that serving his community as a firefighter/paramedic was one of the greatest things he has done in his life. Check out the photo of him below in his firefighter gear!
Inspired by watching his mom sing at church, he started playing music as young as 11 years old. Later in life, he decided to pursue his musical dreams full-on and went on to tour with a band, which is what further drove his desire to play music for a living. Now based in Nashville, he is pursuing music full-time.

Kyle's stripped down performance of the emotional song, "Remember When", originally recorded by Alan Jackson, is faithful to the original version in that it is undoubtedly heartfelt and sincere. He's definitely got our attention!
Check out Kyle's impressive rendition of the country classic in the video below! And don't forget to check out the incredible live performance from Alan Jackson at the Grand Ole Opry below, too.

Remember when I was young and so were you
and time stood still and love was all we knew
You were the first, so was I
We made love and then you cried
Remember when we vowed the vows
and walked the walk
Gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard
We lived and learned, life threw curves
There was joy, there was hurt
Remember when old ones died and new were born
And life was changed, disassembled, rearranged
We came together, fell apart
And broke each other's hearts
Remember when the sound of little feet
was the music
We danced to week to week
Brought back the love, we found trust
Vowed we'd never give it up
Remember when thirty seemed so old
Now lookn' back it's just a steppin' stone
To where we are,
Where we've been
Said we'd do it all again
Remember when we said when we turned gray
When the children grow up and move away
We won't be sad, we'll be glad
For all the life we've had
And we'll remember when
