Lennon and Maisy Wow With Amazing Original Song

Lennon and Maisy Stella are at it again! But this time, with a song called “In The Waves.” The sisters star on the hit TV show Nashville, are known for their beautiful covers of Johnny Cash, Jason Mraz and stunning the audience at the Grand Ole Opry.

“In The Waves” is their first original song and was released in conjunction with their new children’s book, also called “In The Waves.“

 

“In The Waves” is about using your imagination and having the best time doing so! In the music video, you can tell how playful and fun their relationship is as they play guitar and ukulele in their homemade beach! They giggle, dance, and wow us with their beautiful harmonies!  Lennon mentioned in an interview that this song has been a long time coming.  When they were just ages 9 and 5, they came up with the chorus while they were in the bathtub!  The last few seconds of the video, they add the younger versions of themselves singing the chorus! 

It’s hard to believe these girls are only 15 and 11 years old! Next up for the Stella sisters? An album! They are in the process of writing a lot of music and meeting with producers and we can’t wait to hear what they’re putting together!
