The recently renovated Walk of Fame Park in Nashville opened with exciting new additions and country legend Loretta Lynn has finally been honored on the Music City Walk of Fame with her very own plaque next to good friend and occasional collaborator Jack White.

Loretta was candidly sweet when asked how excited she was for her plaque saying, "I think it's about time". Loretta we couldn't agree more!

Jack gave a touching speech about Loretta saying, "I think (Loretta Lynn) embodies feminism, and she broke ground for women more than anybody else did, before anybody else did". With his touching acceptance speech for the honor they were receiving, the two stars were humble and thankful.

Their names now rest alongside legends such as Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton and Little Richard on the Walk of Fame, which originally opened in 2006.

Check out the video of their acceptance speech below.
