Since being diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2011, Glen Campbell's health has been in decline. In April 2014, he was moved to a full-time care facility so that he could receive the proper care he needed.

Glen's friend of 50 years and fellow country music artist, Jimmy Webb, recently visited the country music icon and provided a detailed update on Glen's current condition on his Facebook page. Jimmy revealed that even though it's a sad time for everyone who knows and loves him, his spirits are still up and he is receiving the best care possible.

“Music is still at the very center of who he is,” Jimmy says. “It is almost as though he is giving a never-ending performance." Apparently, he still does Donald Duck impression and has fun joking around. We're happy to hear he still has his sense of humor!

Webb mentioned that he sees his family constantly and that his wife, Kim, and his two youngest kids live close to the facility in Nashville.

He ended the post by saying, "He is loved. He is cared for. He is respected. And most of all, he has his dignity. We can all be comforted by that."

Our hearts break for his friends and family, and we hope he continues to keep his spirits high with all of the love surrounding him!

Watch the emotional video below of Glen's son, Shannon, singing his last song, "I'm Not Gonna Miss You", as a tribute to his father.
