Wow! This boy is on the fast track to superstardom!

YouTube superstar, Brendan McFarlane, blew away the crowd at Nashville's 3rd and Lindsley Bar, when he sat alongside Vince Gill to perform a once in a lifetime rendition of Hank Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry".

The performance was outstanding, and we're sure everyone in the room was dazzled by the powerful voice that came out of this young boy. It was clear that even Vince was impressed, as he let Brendan steal the show and have his moment to shine

"I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" was written and recorded by Hank Williams in 1949. The song has since become one of his signature songs, ranking #111 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Amazing!

Check out the video below to see this awesome performance, and you'll be glad you did!

Hear that lonesome whippoorwill
He sounds too blue to fly
The midnight train is whining low
I'm so lonesome I could cry

I've never seen a night so long
When time goes crawling by
The moon just went behind the clouds
To hide its face and cry

Did you ever see a robin weep
When leaves begin to die?
Like me, he's lost the will to live
I'm so lonesome I could cry

The silence of a falling star
Lights up a purple sky
And as I wonder where you are
I'm so lonesome I could cry
