9 year-old Conner Bechtel has one dream and he took that dream with him to the Luke Bryan concert in Cincinnati, Ohio this last weekend. Holding up a sign while his dad held him up above the crowd, Conner waited and waited hoping to be noticed...and he was. When Luke saw and read his sign while performing his hit song, "Someone Else Calling You Baby" he couldn't help but stop and smile. The sign read:
"My dream is to meet and sing with my hero Luke."
Conner had helped to make that poster, and when Luke took it he bounced on his dad's shoulder waiting. He didn't have to wait long, because Luke took him on stage to sing along with him for the rest of the song. Shy at first, he started to sing out loud with Luke once he got a little comfortable and got into the music.
But what no one knew, was the Conner has Tourette's Syndrome and country music is like medicine to him. Gloria, Conner's mother, told WKRC news station, "When he has bad days or gets his feelings hurt from other kids, he comes home and blasts country music...it makes him feel better."
Gloria stated that on the way home from the concert, Conner cried because he was so overwhelmed with emotion from his expereince. It's a beautiful story and an amazing moment for one fan that he won't likely forget.
We tip our hat to Mr. Luke Bryan, way to go! Check out the amazing moment in the video below.
