At the Duck Commander 500 NASCAR race, the Robertson family was not only able to sponsor a sport they love, but also honor their country with their beautiful voices and a lovely prayer. The event began with Missy Robertson performing and Sadie Robertson saying a prayer for the drivers and everyone there, but the high note of the opening ceremonies was Jase and Missy Robertson's son, Reed Robertson, performing our National Anthem, The Star Spangled Banner.
With a strong voice, Reed brings the crowd to tears as he performs a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. His voice brings chills to those who listen and leaves you in awe for a few moments. His rendition of the song is beautiful, but his humble nature makes the song even more stunning. For a young man who's family is famous and well known, it's not a shock he's getting an opportunity to share his talents, but the praise he recieves is well deserved!
Check out the video below and get ready for the chills!
Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
