has partnered with Target
to write and perform songs via Twitter
based on ideas from fans. How cool is that? It's called LukeBox,
a fun play on jukebox. "I'll be writing personalized songs just for you," Luke
says. "Submit your request on Twitter to the hashtag LukeBox. This is your chance for me to write a song about anything you want."
It's all to promote his brand new album, Kill The Lights
, which comes out August 7.
It should come as no surprise that his first song was inspired by his good friend, Willie Robertson
of Duck Dynasty
The great Lionel Richie
, who still makes Luke
nervous, also tweeted him, hoping to have his idea turned into a song as well. Luke
couldn't say no to that.
has so far turned several fans' concepts into songs, including one especially emotional
idea about having to say goodbye to those who are deployed overseas
This is a brilliant new way
to interact with fans. Way to go, Luke!
Don't miss out on this one-in-a-million
chance to get your idea turned into a Luke Bryan
song, because, let's face it, that would make anyone's day! #LukeBox
