Tim McGraw could sing the dictionary and it'd be a hit, so it comes as no surprise that when he randomly decides to cover Luke Bryan's emotional hit song, "Do I", it's absolutely magical.
Tim's jam session was posted to his official Facebook page. Surrounded by his band, he stuns his fans across the internet with his beautiful cover.
"Do I" was released in 2009 as the lead single off of Luke'sDoin' My Thing album. Written by Dave Haywood and Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley, the song peaked at #2 on the US Hot Country Songs chart. Luke Bryan tells CMT, "The song is about a couple that doesn't know if their worlds are jiving with each other, or they don't know how their relationship's going."
Though no one can sing this song like Luke,Tim's rendition is phenomenal and he makes the song his own and brings the same level of heartbreak to it that Luke does. At the end, Tim walks off camera with a simple, "Hey Luke."
This a must-see, y'all!
Hey Luke Bryan, I know you're having a big week and I heard you guys are doing Green Grass — so I thought I'd return the favor with a big production of one of your early ones.
