Vince Gill is no stranger to singing gospel songs at the Grand Ole Opry. He is known for his beautiful tenor voice and passion behind the mic. He did it once again, but with a little help from Little Big Town

The country band's members, Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet joined the country legend on stage to sing the gospel song "Why Me Lord" during their Grand Ole Opry induction in October of 2014.

The Opry just released this performance on their YouTube page, and we have already watched it over and over!

Accompanied by just two guitars, their five voices sound like a full church choir. The passion and emotion the singers show in this performance is truly remarkable.

Jimi Westbrook, who recently underwent surgery to remove a polyp on his vocal chord, started off the song with a gorgeous solo.

If you don't get chills right away, you will by the time the five singers get to the chorus, and sing in beautiful five-part harmony

"Why Me Lord" was originally written and recorded by country legend Kris Kristofferson in 1972 during an emotional low period in his life after he attended a church service.  Many singers have recorded versions of this song including Elvis Presley, George Jones, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash!

We think Little Big Town and Vince did the song justice, what about you?!

Watch the chilling performance below.

Lyrics

Why me, Lord?

What have I ever done to deserve
Even one of the pleasures I've known?
Tell me, Lord
What did I ever do to deserve loving You
And the kindness You've shown?

Lord, help me Jesus, I've wasted it
So help me Jesus, You know what I am
Now that I know that I've needed You
So help me Jesus, my soul's in Your hand

Try me, Lord
If You think there's a way I can ever repay
All I've taken from You
Maybe Lord
I can show someone else what I've been through myself
On my way back to You

Lord, help me Jesus, I've wasted it
So help me, Jesus, You know what I am
Now that I know that I've needed You
So help me Jesus, my soul's in Your hand
Jesus, my soul's in Your hand
