Miranda Lambert has some wise words for the broken-hearted in the form of a photograph she posted to her personal Facebook.

Lambert lies back on a dirty sidewalk in New York City, which she admits she never does. Why? Well, because the words that are painted beside her head mean something rather important to her. "Protect Yo Heart" it reads.

As many know, she is recently divorced from Blake Shelton, and anyone who has went through any form of break up or heartache can really relate to the need to protect one's own heart.

These are powerful words to live by that obviously moved Miranda enough to photograph herself beside them and share them with the rest of the world.

I don't normally lay on the sidewalk in NYC....Words move me....words make me move. #NYC

Miranda is a strong woman, and we know she'll be able to handle whatever life throws at her next.

Below is a video of Miranda singing "Kerosene", and it shows her sticking up for her heart, and rebelling against love.

Miranda sings, "Forget your high society, I'm soakin' it in, Kerosene. Light 'em up and watch them burn, teach them what they need to learn," and we can't help but feel the emotion in her voice.

Check out the fiery video below, and see Miranda in her own element. You won't be disappointed.
