It's always nice to see a young heart with a love for country music.

One little girl named Leilani loves country music so much that she's covered many iconic country songs, including Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" and Miranda Lambert's "The House That Built Me."

But one of Leilani's sweetest performances is a cover of George Strait's "I Saw God Today," which she sang when she was only five years old.

"I Saw God Today" was released in 2008 as the lead single off of Strait's album Troubadour. The song was Strait's 43rd Billboard number one hit, and also won Single of the Year at the 2008 CMA Awards

Leilani strums on her bright pink, rhinestone-covered guitar before she starts singing. Once Leilani finishes practicing on her guitar, she lets her father know she is ready to start by yelling "action!"

She may not have the chords quite right, and her singing is a bit off tempo, but that only makes Leilani's cover even more adorable. But what is truly impressive is that Leilani never forgets the words to the song.

Leilani eventually catches up with Strait at the chorus, and you can tell it's her favorite part, because she sings louder and strums harder on her guitar.

We can't get enough of this little darling's sweet rendition of Strait's song.

With such a love for country music, hopefully we will see more performances from Leilani in the future.

LYRICS BELOW

Just walked down the street to the coffee shop,
Had to take a break,
I've been by her side for eighteen hours straight,
saw a flower growing in the middle of the sidewalk,
pushing up through the concrete,
Like it was planted right there for me to see,

The flashing lights,
The honking horns,
All seem to fade away,
but in the shadow of the hospital,
at 508,
I saw God today,

I've been to church,
I've read the book,
I know He's there,
But I don't look,
near as often as I should,

His fingerprints are everywhere,
I just look down and stop and stare,
open my eyes and then I swear,
I Saw God Today,

Saw a couple walking by,
they were holding hands,
and she had that glow,
Ya, I couldn't help,
but I noticed that she was starting to show,
stood there for a minute,
taking in the sky,
lost in that sunset,
a splashing down from mounting in shades of red,

I've been to church,
I've read the book,
I know He's there,
but I don't look,
near as often as I should,

His fingerprints are everywhere,
I just look down and stop and stare,
open my eye and then I swear,
I Saw God Today,

Got my face pushed up against the nursery glass,
she's sleeping like a rock,
my name on her wrist,
wearing tiny pink socks,
she's got my nose,
she's got her Mama's eyes,
my bran new baby girl,
she's a miracle,
I Saw God Today
