Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, sure make one adorable couple!
Despite being super busy promoting her new album, Storyteller, being a rockstar mom to baby Isaiah, and being nominated for the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, Underwood knows the importance of a night out!
This past week, Underwood and Fisher took a night off from their parental duties (and busy work schedules!) to spend a lovely night together. Via Instagram, Underwood posting a selfie with her husband, with the caption, "Date night with this handsome hunk!!!".
Of course Underwood looks absolutely flawless in the photo, with a loose braid and a stunning floral dress. Her husband looks great too in a simple blue button-up and jeans! Picture-perfect couple!
Between Underwood's nomination and new album, and Fisher's recent singing of another two-year contract with the Nashville Predators, we think these two are very deserving of a date night!
In 2010, as tribute to her fiancé at the time, Underwood co-wrote and released "Mama's Song". The song is based around a note written to her mother about her to-be husband, Mike Fisher. Through the emotional lyrics, Underwood tells her mother,
And he is good, so good
He treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good, he makes promises he keeps
No he's never gonna leave
So don't you worry about me
So sweet! Carrie and Mike are just perfect! Check out the touching love song below!
