From meager beginnings, one of country music's most successful artists started performing at 4H events and rodeos in a rural Mississippi county.
Faith Hill, known for her incredible voice, endless hits, and timeless beauty, began her musical journey after her first year of college in 1987. Deciding there was no time to waste on her dream, she set her sights on Nashville. There, she worked packing fan merchandise for one of her idols: Reba McEntire.
Hill would debut her career with Take Me As I Am in 1993. Her first single "Wild One" immediately soared to the number one spot on the Billboard charts and stay there. She would experience seemingly endless hits with notable fan favorites like "I Can't Do This Anymore", "This Kiss", and even win a grammy for songwriting in 1998.
In 1996, Hill married fellow country artist Tim McGraw and the two instantly became country's most visible couple. McGraw and Hill have repeatedly launched tours together with some of their duets skyrocketing to the top of the charts.
Born September 21st 1963, one of country's most beloved artists turns 48 today. Happy Birthday Faith!
In the video below you can see beautiful Hill get choked up while singing to her beloved husband! What a great moment between these two!
