Grab the tissues, this performance is sure to bring y'all to tears!
During an "Anti-Bullying" awareness concert, LeAnn Rimes broke down while dedicating her performance to those who have been victim to bullying. She said,
This is dedicated to all those who have lost their lives and their families, and also to those who haven't found their way yet. Hopefully they can hang on long enough, and there's still hope, and it does get better.
Through tears, Rimes began singing a powerful rendition of "The Rose". You could hear the strong emotion in her voice as she put her heart and soul into the song. The performance was so heartbreaking, yet absolutely stunning.
In 1979, Bette Midler released the emotional song, "The Rose". The song was a huge success, and in 1983 Conway Twitty decided to record his own rendition of the classic song. And, wow, talk about a chart-topper! The song quickly rose to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart, becoming the 30th No. 1 of Twitty's career.

Some say love, it is a river
That drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love, it is a hunger,
An endless aching need.
I say love, it is a flower,
And you its only seed.
It's the heart afraid of breaking
That never learns to dance.
It's the dream afraid of waking
That never takes the chance.
It's the one who won't be taken,
Who cannot seem to give,
And the soul afraid of dyin'
That never learns to live.
When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong,
Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose.
